Kenneth Wood founded the Kenwood Manufacturing Company in 1947 in the English county of Surrey. The first products were a toaster and a mixer that sold very well. The great success came three years later when Wood developed a new kitchen machine system.

Today, Kenwood kitchen machines are among the best-selling in the world, especially in the high-price segment.
