Transcend

Transcend Information Inc. was founded in 1988 and is headquartered in Taipei, Taiwan.

In the beginning, Transcend had only two products on the market: the "JetMate" driver for laser printers and the "KeyPro" encryption software. Shortly afterwards, the range was expanded to include memory extensions, first for printers and later also for computers. Today, the memory product line includes over 2,000 memory modules for a variety of devices, including desktop and notebook PCs, servers, workstations, fax machines, and more.

Over the past 20 years, Transcend has evolved to become one of the world's most respected brands for memory products and consumer electronics.
