The EX-6100PoE Power Injector adds PoE power to one of the 4 Ethernet PoE ports, allowing you to deliver power and data to your Ethernet devices in the field over a single Ethernet cable. The Power over Ethernet functionality enables network administrators to install the EX-6100PoE up to 100 meters away from PoE devices such as wireless access points, IP cameras, etc. It supports the best location for devices that are on a power pole outside or in the ceiling where there is no power outlet. The EX-6100PoE supplies 48-57V DC for PoE PDs. Its compact size makes the PoE solution not only easy to use but also simple to install in remote locations. The EX-6100PoE then operates as Power Source Equipment (PSE) for the Powered Device (PD). It gives the installer more flexibility during installation, as the device no longer needs to be in close proximity to a power outlet. By using Power over Ethernet (PoE) according to IEEE 802.3af, the EX-6100PoE eliminates the need for a nearby power outlet and provides a reliable and easy-to-use networking solution.
