Product details

Coconut fibre humus from Trixie is a high-quality terrarium substrate made from natural coconut fibres. This substrate is specially designed to meet the needs of reptiles and other terrarium inhabitants. It provides an ideal basis for creating a natural habitat that promotes both the health and well-being of the animals. The compressed substrate has the ability to expand up to 7 to 8 times its original volume, providing a generous volume of up to 60 litres when activated with water. The pH value is between 5.0 and 6.0, making it a suitable choice for many plants and animals. Due to the heat treatment, the product is mould and germ-free, which provides additional safety for the inhabitants of the terrarium. It contains no fertilisers, making it ideal for a natural environment.
