The 9090 is the first espresso machine in the history of Alessi, as well as the first of countless Compasso d’Oro awards and the first Alessi project to be exhibited at MoMA in New York. It is the coffee machine that people love for its ability to be carried directly to the table to serve espresso.

The Alessi espresso machine is made entirely of shiny stainless steel with a magnetic base and can be used on induction, gas, electric, and glass-ceramic cooktops. It is one of four different sizes designed by Richard Sapper. The machine holds 15 cl for three cups with a reduction filter.
