Dishwasher-safe PVD cutlery

Cutlery with a PVD (Physical Vapour Deposition) coating can be placed in the dishwasher; however, we recommend hand washing. Cleaning cutlery in the dishwasher may expose it to external factors that do not occur with hand care. Aggressive detergents, prolonged soiling of the cutlery in the machine, high temperatures, etc., are some of the many causes that can lead to staining or even corrosion, especially on knife blades.

Please observe the following care tips: Cutlery can become discolored due to salt and acid-containing food residues (e.g., mayonnaise, fish broth, vinegar). It is particularly important to clean knives as soon as possible after use.

When cleaning in the dishwasher, always place the cutlery with the handles facing down in the baskets, ensuring that similar items, such as spoons, do not nest inside each other. Immediately after the wash cycle ends, remove the cutlery from the machine and dry it, even if it appears dry. Promptly remove any remaining stains. Never leave damp cutlery in the closed machine.

Never wash stainless steel cutlery mixed with silver-plated or silver cutlery in the same basket.
