This is a standard note that refers to optional batteries for accessories (e.g. remote controls). However, the Dreame R20 does not have any accessories that require such batteries. The note is therefore misleading, but not relevant to the operation of the hoover.
The Dreame R20 uses a lithium-ion battery (model VBP2-06), which was specially developed for this appliance.
