Wacom

Wacom is the largest manufacturer of graphics tablets. Wacom Co. Ltd. was established in Japan in 1983. The company is essentially active in two business areas, firstly in the design, manufacture and sale of graphic tablets and secondly in the development of software products (e.g. CAD software) which benefit from the patented hardware.
The company name is composed of the syllables "wa" (Japanese for harmony) and the abbreviation "com" for computer.
