Huawei P50 Pocket announced: The foldable design smartphone

The P50 Pocket is Huawei's first foldable smartphone. It meets many top model standards and has a novel camera on board.
The Huawei P50 Pocket is the latest addition to the Chinese manufacturer's P50 family. However, it faces the same problem as its sister models: The technical features sound good, but Google services are missing and so far it is only planned for China.
Compact smartphone with a special camera
Opened up, the Huawei P50 Pocket comes very close to a classic smartphone. You're looking at a 6.9-inch OLED display with a resolution of 2790×1188 pixels and a refresh rate of 120 hertz. Fold it up and two distinctive circles appear on the outside. One houses three cameras and the other houses the outer display.
With its round shape and the way it's operated, it's very reminiscent of a smartwatch. At 1.04 inches in diameter and 340×340 pixels in resolution, the OLED display could also dangle nicely in a device on your wrist.
The Snapdragon 888 in the P50 Pocket is surprisingly only the 4G version of the processor. It is backed by 8 gigabytes of RAM and 256 gigabytes of internal storage. In the premium edition of the smartphone, it is 12 and 512 gigabytes. The battery seems comparatively small with a capacity of 4000 mAh, but the space for the folding mechanism has to come from somewhere.
When it comes to software, Huawei only talks about its EMUI 12 user interface, which probably means Android with Huawei's replacement apps for Google services installed, just like on the Nova 9 or P40 Pro.
