Hello, I’m looking for a video baby monitor where the camera runs on a battery (and not just the monitor). I’d also like a secure connection – no app that stores the footage who knows where. I’ve already ordered two, but the cameras on both run on mains power… contrary to what’s stated. Thanks in advance for your advice.

It's summer again, so it's time to start up the portable air conditioner and every time I ask myself why there are still no two-hose air conditioners. It's 2022, energy efficiency is a bigger issue than ever everywhere but still (with the exception of one very expensive portable split) only extremely inefficient single hose units are sold. Why is that?

Hey Digitec hey guys. I have a big request or rather question. Why does Digitec/Galaxus use Planzer Paketdienst? (I realise the price) But out of 10 consignments, maybe one arrives on time. Planzer has a rating of 1-max 2 stars on Google and Trustpilot. I'd rather pay 4-10 FR more if I know it's delivered by a good company. I've only had trouble with Planzer over the last few years. Is it just me or you too? Greetings Pad3

Dear Community, dear Galaxus team I would like to bring up for discussion a repeated incident in connection with parcel delivery by PLANZER - in the hope that I am not the only one who has had such experiences and that Galaxus takes its customers' feedback seriously. Yesterday evening, after dark, a parcel with damaged packaging was left directly on my freely accessible driveway without any notification and without ringing the bell. I only discovered the delivery by chance because I was walking the dog outside late at night. If that hadn't happened, the parcel would have been left there overnight - with the risk of moisture damage or theft. For me, this approach is not only unprofessional, but also simply unacceptable - especially as it is not the first incident of this kind. Especially in times when trust and reliability are crucial in online retail, the question arises for me: Is PLANZER really a good choice as a delivery service for Galaxus and its customers? I would be delighted to receive feedback from the Community: Have you had similar experiences? And to the Galaxus team: How is such feedback dealt with internally - and are there any efforts to reconsider the cooperation with certain delivery services in case of repeated problems? Thank you very much for reading along and for your opinions.

I’m trying to connect an antenna to my Zyxel NR2301. The Zyxel’s antenna port needs to be connected to the antenna (two SMA female cables). According to the Zyxel NR2301 product information, a TS9 male adapter is required for this. However, the TS9 plug does not fit. I then ordered a CRC 9, but that doesn’t fit either. Which plug will fit?

I’m fairly convinced I was unlucky with my first order, but I’d still like to make a brief comment on the customer service provided by this massive company. I ordered a PlayStation 5 on Friday 5 June using the ‘prepayment’ option and immediately fulfilled my duty as a consumer by paying via bank transfer. On Monday, when I logged into my account, I found my order had been cancelled and my Galaxus credit marked as ‘blocked’ – no email, no communication whatsoever. Naturally, I contacted customer service straight away and suddenly found myself in a farce: no one knew where this cancellation had come from or why my money had been blocked; the only thing the staff could tell me during the three days I contacted the site was “you’ll receive an email, but I don’t know when”. On Thursday the 11th, I finally received this elusive email informing me that the address entered as the delivery address was too long (my mistake), but that this could be sorted out very easily; after the email, my credit was magically unblocked.My money was blocked, and I can assure you it wasn’t a small amount, with no explanation whatsoever for four days. I work in retail myself and have had customers who’ve made a scene over far less. My honest feedback for you is to train your customer service team; it’s not acceptable for the staff to pass every single query up to ‘higher-ups’ – you’re paying employees to act as secretaries under the guise of ‘customer service’.

Hello I’m looking for a travel coffee mug similar to the 24Bottles one, but one that’s shock- and slip-resistant. I need it for work, and the mug tends to fall on the floor or I knock it against something. That immediately leaves a dent or scratch. I’m working on public transport and I need it to stay upright on bends. Is there such a thing, or should I just get another 24Bottles?

Hello Digitec - this is the second time that Planzer has deposited a (valuable) Digitec/Galaxus parcel on my doorstep (in Kleinbasel) and then confirmed the deposit by e-mail "deposited according to your instructions". 1. i did not provide any details 2. we were at home (especially because of the upcoming delivery) and the doorbell wasn't even rung This is the second time (both times a laptop). I would ask you to have a serious word with your logistics partner in the interests of your customers, or to use the postal service again, which is much more professional and reliable. For some time now, I have noticed that more and more electronic products are being supplied with a German plug (type F, Schuko) instead of the plug type used in Switzerland (type J), often without any labelling on the product. This practice is impractical and annoying from the customer's point of view in several respects: Space problem with sockets: the German plug requires significantly more space and often blocks neighbouring sockets, especially with multiple sockets. Need for an adapter: An additional adapter is required to be able to use the devices at all. These are often bulky and impair handling. Time-consuming replacement process: In many cases, a separate complaint has to be registered in order to obtain a suitable adapter or a plug replacement. This is cumbersome and causes unnecessary expense. As a Swiss customer, I expect products for the local market to be delivered with the right plug. I would therefore ask you to review your internal processes and supply chains and ensure that devices are supplied with a Swiss plug as standard or at least with a suitable, high-quality adapter. Thank you for your attention and I hope to see a rapid improvement on this point. Kind regards

What does delayed delivery mean? The product was in stock and was described as being delivered the next day. Been waiting for a week. Even Amazon was quicker to receive after 3 days from DE. Also China was faster after 5days received.

Recently, the filters for length and width have been limited to a minimum of 10 cm and a maximum of 50 cm. Catering sizes are 53 cm and 60 cm in length; I don’t understand where the 50 cm figure has suddenly come from.

Three items from my order were delivered on different days. I never received two other items from the same order, but I did receive a notification that my return had been processed. The automated email stated that the address was incorrect. Now I’m left to sort this out and have to find a way to get the goods I need from somewhere else! In short: poor service :-( As a customer, I’m dissatisfied!

Dear Galaxus It's absolutely fine if you include products from third-party companies in your range. But please take the entire VidaXL company and its products out of the range. They only supply the cheapest junk and if you want to return something because the product description is not correct, you get the following information: "We are sorry that the product you purchased from us did not fulfil your expectations. Therefore, in accordance with our General Terms and Conditions, we can no longer accept your return request and will not refund the purchase price." They are alluding to their Article 6, Paragraphs 1 and 2, which actually want to generally exclude the right of cancellation. However, it is actually worded in such a way (presumably a translation error) that it would very likely be overturned in court. But you don't want to let it get that far. If you have ordered the item via Galaxus, its name will also be discredited. I can therefore only advise against using this company or its products.

I've been a customer of Digitec/Galaxus for many years and used to consider them one of the most reliable online retailers in Switzerland. However, over the past year or so, my experience has become increasingly frustrating. More than half of my recent orders have been shipped or delivered later than the advertised delivery date. While occasional delays are understandable, it has become common enough that I no longer trust the delivery estimates shown when ordering. I've also had several cases where the wrong product was shipped, which meant spending additional time dealing with returns and reordering, or products also arrived damaged due to the bad handling of the delivery services. What frustrates me most is that these problems are no longer isolated incidents. Delays, incorrect shipments, and other fulfillment issues seem to occur far more frequently than they did a few years ago. The overall experience feels noticeably less reliable than it used to be. I'm curious whether others have noticed the same trend recently or whether I've simply had a streak of bad luck. Has anyone else experienced a decline in service quality from Digitec/Galaxus over the past year?

When I ordered a garden cupboard, only 1 out of 2 boxes was delivered. Making a complaint is almost impossible with that useless assistant. It took a lot of effort just to get through to customer service directly. You can’t properly report the problem. ‘Lost’ – yes, but only one part; ‘resend’ – yes, but only one part; can’t write a comment about it. What terrible service. It’s difficult to put this across correctly – almost impossible. It’s a shame there’s no phone number, as professional companies have. It’s a shame what this company used to be.
