Your bag needs a carabiner - you'll see why in a moment

The most important items always to hand and replaceable at any time: If you ask me, a carabiner is the icing on the cake that your bag has been missing.

Why did I actually buy the round carabiner? It could have been a Pinterest inspiration that promised various styling options. The so-called «pimping» of plain items of clothing. Did I even write an article about it? What do you think?

1 round carabiner, 4 styling tips

I'll be honest, my carabiner is hardly ever used on tops or trousers anymore. Instead, it has proven to be indispensable in a completely different place in everyday life: on the handles and grips of my bags.

Such bags can be handy and small if they only have to accommodate the bare essentials such as a smartphone and keys, or they can just about pass as a «personal item» on an aeroplane if a book, notebook, water bottle and snacks also have to travel with you. What I'm trying to say is that size doesn't matter. My carabiner is always useful. That's because I can quickly snap on anything that can't fit inside the bag, gets permanently tangled up or is simply a pretty accessory.

Whatever I need, my carabiner holds it for me.
Whatever I need, my carabiner holds it for me.

For example, I'm talking about a homemade bag charm (that was actually intended for hair clips) or my cap, which I hate to leave the house without in summer. Even my somewhat bulky headphones from Koss are always to hand thanks to the carabiner footboard and don't have to be removed from my key ring or sunglasses frame. Yes, even the travel bowl for my dog can almost pass as a cool accessory on the carabiner.

Just as quickly as my current essential is changed on the hook, it is snapped from one bag to another. Practical, uncomplicated and stylish. I'm telling you: you need one of these too!
