The 7Artisans M50mm F1.1 lens features an optical system with 7 elements in 6 groups, based on the Sonnar formula. It includes two high-refractive optical elements with a refractive index of 1.9 to enhance the image quality and portability of the lens. The research and development process analyzed the impact of field curvature and image astigmatism on out-of-focus areas. Numerous corrections and improvements resulted in higher image quality. Using the lens at an aperture of F/1.1 produces a soft and pleasant bokeh. At an aperture of F1.4, sharpness is improved while maintaining the smooth out-of-focus areas. Repeated corrections of spherical and chromatic aberrations lead to a precisely controlled bokeh shape, as well as good contrast and sharpness in the focus area of this large aperture lens.
