Fully managed switches provide complete Layer 2 functionality with optional PoE+, 10 GbE uplinks, enhanced access security, traffic prioritization, sFlow, and IPv6 host support. Deployment at the right scale is possible with models featuring 8, 24, and 48 ports, Gigabit or Fast Ethernet ports, optional PoE+, and optional 10 GbE uplinks. Energy savings are achieved with fanless models, Energy Efficient Ethernet (IEEE 802.3az), and the ability to disable LEDs and activate a power-saving mode.
