The world's first network camera was invented by Axis in 1996. The company continues to be a pioneer in the field of video surveillance. Axis Communications was founded in 1984 and is now represented globally with its own offices. Axis network video products are found everywhere: in public spaces, retail, airports, on trains and highways, in universities, in correctional facilities, in casinos, and in bank branches. The entire Axis value chain, from research and development to production and recycling, is characterized by the company's commitment to quality.
