The Canon PIXMA G550 is aimed at small businesses, photo studios and home users. It offers high quality photo printing with low maintenance and low total cost of ownership.
Six dye-based inks provide enhanced photo print quality. The additional red and grey inks increase colour brilliance and contrast and ensure that there is almost no colour variation, regardless of the photo paper used. The high coverage inks allow for a huge page yield - one set of bottles lasts for approximately 3,800 10 x 15 cm photo prints, which means that inks need to be refilled less often. The printer is very easy to use and the front-view ink tanks make it easy to monitor ink levels. There's no need to squeeze the ink bottles and they have an individual port shape, making refilling very easy, and the two-line LCD display makes it easy to navigate through the functions. The user-replaceable printhead and maintenance cartridge minimise downtime and Auto Power On/Off helps to save energy. Wi-Fi connectivity enables printing via the Canon PRINT app, Mopria or AirPrint, as well as wireless connection to a PC, laptop or Canon Wi-Fi camera.
