The JJC DHS-1 Dew Point Heating Strip is a specially designed accessory that helps prevent condensation on optical devices. It is particularly important for astronomical observations and photography in humid conditions. The heating strip maintains a constant surface temperature to avoid dew formation on telescope and camera lenses, as well as other optical surfaces. With a length of approximately 30 cm and a width of 2.5 cm, it adapts flexibly to various device shapes. It operates at a low voltage of 12 V DC and consumes 8 W of power, generating gentle heat up to 5°C above the ambient temperature without damaging sensitive optics. The weather-resistant silicone rubber outer material provides electrical insulation and even heat distribution. The heating strip is ideal for telescopes up to 20 cm in diameter and can be securely attached with adjustable Velcro straps. Additionally, it operates silently and without light emission, making it particularly suitable for astrophotography and visual astronomy.
