This allows data and files to be transferred with compatible devices at speeds of up to 40 Gbps, and your laptop's battery can be fully charged in about 2.5 hours. Additionally, sustainability was considered in the design, as the dock and power supply housing are made from up to 20% recycled plastic.
For the Surface Book 3, Pro 7, Pro X, Laptop 3, and Go 2, the maximum refresh rate for connected 4K monitors is 60 Hz. For the Pro 5, Pro 6, Laptop, Laptop 2, Go, and Book 2, the maximum refresh rate for 4K monitors is 30 Hz.

The matt black housing of the Surface Dock, which has only just been launched on the market, is quite scratch-sensitive. The fact that data transfer over the network was up to 10 per cent slower than the competition could be due to the still fresh firmware status. The dock does not have sockets for HDMI or DP, only three Thunderbolt ports...
