Yes, this stick also makes sense if you don't use or subscribe to any other Amazon products. You can use it to access platforms such as Netflix, YouTube and many more. The smart home functions via Alexa are also useful for controlling compatible devices, even if you don't use any other Amazon services.

i can't answer that - i use the stick with teleboy, as the corresponding app for the fire stick is available there. in general, not all google playstore apps are also available in the amazon app store, and the google play store can only be used if you are familiar with 'side loading' android apps. so i would ask galaxus directly, because i probably got this question 'automatically' since i bought the stick. i actually like the google chromecast for google tv better, but the fire stick remote is much more convenient.....

The device uses an HDMI connection to connect to the TV. It is therefore compatible with any TV equipped with an HDMI output.

The Fire TV Stick does not support native portrait streaming directly from a mobile to the stick, at least there is no specific information that it directly supports such functions for streaming websites. However, it does offer Miracast support for display mirroring with Fire tablets, which enables similar functions, but not directly from any mobile to the stick. To stream websites to the stick, you usually need to use the corresponding apps on the stick.

Yes, you can simply plug the Fire TV Stick into the HDMI port of a projector and watch Netflix. The stick supports wireless transmission via Wi-Fi and Bluetooth, which makes it easy to install. Make sure the projector supports HDMI and the connection is stable to ensure an optimal streaming experience.

The Fire TV Stick is generally compatible with any television with an HDMI port, which includes most modern televisions such as the LG 50PG6000. However, for the best experience, make sure the TV has a resolution compatible with the Fire TV Stick's capabilities. For the LG 50PG6000, which is an HD TV, the Fire TV Stick will work, but it won't be able to display 4K content on this TV.

To check the compatibility of the Fire TV Stick with your old Samsung TV UE40F6200AY, follow these steps: 1. Check for an HDMI port: The Fire TV Stick requires an HDMI port to work. Your Samsung UE40F6200AY TV, being a 2012 model, should have at least one HDMI port. 2. Make sure the HDMI port is working: Try connecting another device (such as a computer or another media player) to the HDMI port to check that it is working properly. 3. Connect the Fire TV Stick: Connect the Fire TV Stick to the HDMI port on your TV and make sure it is also plugged into a power outlet. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the setup. 4. Check your TV settings: Make sure your TV is set to the correct input to receive the signal from the Fire TV Stick. Usually, this is done by selecting the corresponding HDMI input from the TV menu. If your TV does not recognise the Fire TV Stick, it may be due to specific problems with the HDMI configuration on older Samsung TV models, as mentioned in some cases. In that case, you may have to try changing the HDMI port or resetting the device.

Regarding 1: the stick runs on my old Panasonic via HDMI and works perfectly. It should therefore also work on the Sony Bravia. Re 2: The "Play SRF" app can be selected via the stick, where live sports streams can also be accessed (as on the standard app). The "SRF Sport" app cannot be accessed. But I have compared and the live streams on "Play SRF" are the same as in the "SRF Sport" app, at least today and tomorrow.
