I don't think this version of the keyboard is compatible with your Ipad. It is however compatible with an Ipad air 2 which is smaller than your tablet. In my opinion, the keyboard that would work for you is this one. [Logitech Combo Touch (CH, iPad (2019), iPad (2020))(https://www.galaxus.ch/fr/s1/product/logitech-combo-touch-ch-ipad-2019-ipad-2020-claviers-pour-tablette-13486162?tagIds=614-654)

Yes, I think so - it's a question of the placement of the holes for the camera. Honestly, I didn't like it and returned it. It's heavy - 445g and thick. the opposite of the optics of an iPad. I took instead the Woodcessories EcoFlip which is well compatible with the iPad 2018 and later - sleek and lighter. For me, this is the best option.

The same thing happened to me. I couldn't find a way to operate the keyboard on my iPad Pro. I gave the keyboard to a friend who owns an iPad 2017 (not a Pro) - the keyboard works as expected and he is happy with it. Ergo: Charge under Sunk Cost, or at best return if Digitec is accommodating.

No, it doesn't fit in the case and the 2018 model has magnets that switch on the keyboard via a reed contact. These don't match the Pro either. But with the Ipad 2018 it's a great combo.

Is a charger included?

No, but it is not necessary. The keyboard is powered by a button cell (battery) which, according to the manufacturer, lasts for 4 years.

Hello Jordialba The iPad Air (1st gen.) has the same dimensions as the iPad 2018/19 (6th gen.). If the outer dimensions of your device are 240.0 × 169.5 × 7.5 mm, then it should work with this keyboard. Greetings begraf
