Top system, with CH App release now full recommendation.

Edit: Bosch has now also released the Smart Home App in Switzerland! I have adjusted the review accordingly!

- Homekit integration is great and works latency-free and without problems. Currently I have 17 window and door contacts in use, two Twin-Guards and various smoke detectors, as well as an intermediate plug. All of these devices are visible in the Home app and can also be used for automations. However, the alarm system is NOT displayed in Homekit and can only be integrated via tricks and detours (using a switchable socket, for example).

The alarm notification only works via push message. If you do not have a data connection on the phone, nothing arrives.

- The range of the system is remarkable - despite reinforced concrete ceilings and floor heating, all detectors work on all floors. What I can not say about my previous alarm system.

- The selection of accessories is great, even if most must be imported from Germany.

However, I find the following deterrents: the base station has no backup battery (but this can be remedied with a cheap UPS) and, most importantly, the window and door sensors have no tamper contacts. This makes the whole thing really rudimentary as an alarm system. More experienced burglars will have an easy time with it. GSM backup is also missing.

Who is looking for a Homekit system, which can also be used as a rudimentary alarm system, is certainly right with Bosch Smart Home. However, the system is particularly distinguished by the Twin Guards and the very reliable WLAN standard. The Philips Hue integration, especially the presence simulation, is also very well solved. more
