Can anyone tell me how to turn off the lens image stabiliser (not IBIS) on the A6xxx? Is it even possible to do this separately? I heard it should not be on for stabilisation via Catalyst Browse. Kind regards

No, it does not work separately. Which A6xxx do you mean? Apart from the 6600 and 6700, no current model has an IBIS.

There is a menu item "Steady Shot" on/off. I think this is what you are looking for.

Thank you very much to all three of you. I have the A6700 with IBIS. I found Steady Shot, but I'm not sure if I have to switch off the image stabilisation in the lens separately.
