Is the drone difficult to fly? So "beginner pilots" can also fly the drone, because I had never owned a drone before, let alone flown one.

Yes, the drone is very easy to fly. The first two hours I would only fly in beginner mode = it flies max 30m away. And the distance detector is off in this mode. This means you can't fly forward into trees or walls. The Spark stops 1m before the obstacle. Only then fly in normal or sport mode.
I highly recommend the remote control. Much easier. And the propeller guards and extra battery. The Plus package.
And always wait for the GPS signal before flying so the spark knows where to fly back to.
Have fun!

I think the drone is very suitable for beginners. It is small and light and therefore easy to handle.
As Tlztlz already mentioned, I recommend flying around in beginner mode for the first 10 battery charges.
You can also do a QuickShot (pre-programmed flight manoeuvres for simple, beautiful shots), preferably in a wide open field so that you don't fly into anything if you don't yet know exactly what the drone does with which actions.

But I think it's even more important to fly WITH REMOTE CONTROL FIRST!!!!
Controlling from a mobile phone is imprecise and slow, you don't really have the feeling of being in control!
But if you know what you are doing, sometimes the mobile phone is enough to quickly position the drone for a photo....

But you have to be aware that it takes a lot of practice to make nice videos... It's not quite as easy as DJI sells it.
Sure, you can always get something right, but to make it look like a promotional video, you have to try a few times!

Have fun flying! I can really recommend the Spark. The price/performance ratio is just right! (Especially with the Flymore-Combo)
