Question about Athom Homey Pro

This is a really interesting device! However, it would only make sense for me to buy it if I could use it to replace my existing bridges (e.g. the Philips Hue Bridge or the Nuki Bridge). Is that possible, or would I simply have one more device to use in future? Thank you very much for your input!

Helpful answer
Short answer: In many cases you can replace existing bridges with Homey Pro, but for some systems (e.g. if manufacturer software/functions are only available via the original bridge) the bridge remains useful or necessary.

Important details:
- Homey Pro supports multiple wireless standards (including Zigbee, Z-Wave, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi) and can connect many devices directly, so separate bridges are often no longer necessary.
- Philips Hue: Homey Pro can integrate Hue lights directly via Zigbee or alternatively connect the existing Hue Bridge; both are possible - without a bridge, saved Hue scenes/bridge-specific functions are lost, with a bridge they are retained.
- Nuki: Support depends on which interface you use (Bluetooth, Nuki Bridge/API). Some Homey apps work with the Nuki Bridge or Nuki Cloud, so the Bridge may still be required for full functionality (Community apps or official integrations may vary).
- Practical consequence: For many devices, Homey Pro completely replaces one or more Bridges; however, for some manufacturer functions or scenarios (e.g. proprietary cloud features, backups of scenes or special sensors), the original Bridge is still useful or required.
- Recommendation: For each of your bridges, check specifically whether there is an official Homey app or a reliable Community app (app catalogue on Homey shows whether the bridge or direct connection is supported).

If you want, I can look specifically for Philips Hue and Nuki in your setup (number of devices, which functions are important to you) and tell you whether you probably need to keep the bridges or not.
