What is the print quality? I'm surprised that the print resolution is lower than the PIXMA models.
I have switched from an HP Officejet Pro 8600 Plus to the Canon GX6050. I can't see any difference in terms of print quality. However, I don't just print photos, only documents, and I'm very happy with the GX6050.
2-sided scanning is possible, please read the operating instructions carefully and follow the display on the printer.
For text and graphics, the quality is very good and fast. If you often want to print photos in top quality, there are probably even better printers.
Compared to other inkjet printers, I find the print quality very good. Printing is also fast.
I also have a Brother printer (MFC-J6947DW), but unfortunately its print quality is so poor that I only print in the highest quality (very slow). But even this is much worse than that of the PIXMA GX6050.
But beware: the GX6050 cannot scan sheets on 2 sides. I have therefore replaced it with the GX7050 model.
I don't notice any difference to the previous model. Fully satisfied. But I no longer print photos.
The super speed and the large ink cartridges and paper tray are good. All in all, it's a mature printer and I'm generally satisfied. Wifi and software work well. The chattering was a bit annoying at first. But you get used to it.
What I didn't find so great were the errors in the print image that have now occurred twice, which then necessitated a major cleaning procedure (various programmes). A lot of ink is used here and this collection cartridge is quickly full and has to be replaced. But the service from Canon was good.
very good for me!
