The seat has an additional padded bar that you place in front of the child after placing the child in the seat. It holds the child against the chest and stomach. The shoulders remain free. The seat belt is guided along the bar and anchored in the belt buckle, which is somewhat awkward. It is an advantage if there is enough space in the back of the car. Our little one likes the seat very much. By the way: The TCS tested the seat and found it to be good. Conclusion: The child likes the seat and it can be used for many years. As long as the latch is used, however, it is a bit awkward for the adults.

There is no raising, only the shield which is adjustable in depth. Before putting a child in it, you should wait until he or she sits up on their own and at least 9 months. Having tested it, the shield is still high and the baby will tend to have his arms raised.
