Product details

A starter designed for single-lamp operation can be used with a single lamp. If you connect such a starter to a tandem luminaire, it will not fire and the lamp will not come on. You will need starters designed for tandem operation if you are operating two fluorescent tubes – also known as twin-tube luminaires – on a single ballast. In this case, each lamp requires its own starter. These have a lower ignition voltage than products designed for single-tube operation.
