The Casita 120 rodent home from Ferplast for guinea pigs and rabbits is intended as a holiday home (only temporary - as it is too small in the long term). Nevertheless, this rodent home is ideally equipped for short periods. The equipment includes a shelter, a hay rack, a plastic bowl and a water dispenser. Thanks to the rodent home's 19.5 cm high bowl, it can be generously filled with bedding and also encourages your rodent's digging behaviour in a natural way.

According to animal welfare regulations, this rodent home is suitable for a maximum of two guinea pigs, three rabbits weighing up to 2.3 kg or two rabbits weighing 2.3 - 3.5 kg. As guinea pigs and rabbits are social animals, they should be kept in a group of at least two animals for species-appropriate husbandry. These figures are the legally prescribed minimum and in no way represent the most animal-friendly keeping conditions. Basically, the bigger the better.

Please also note that the animals should have several places to retreat to, preferably all together. There should also be several ways for the animals to keep themselves occupied.
