The distinctly wider shape of the greyhound collar, which tapers towards the ends, prevents the animal from slipping out of the collar. Additionally, it provides a comfortable wearing experience and, along with the extra thick padding, offers sufficient protection for the sensitive throat. The placement of the D-ring next to the prong buckle also adds extra comfort for the sensitive necks of greyhounds and similar breeds.
