The MultiLux LED lighting system of the Rio 450 LED allows comfortable working in the aquarium even when the lighting is switched on. The ultrasonically welded lighting unit is 100% waterproof and meets high European safety standards. For optimum filtration, the Rio 450 LED is equipped with a powerful Bioflow XL. This internal filter combines effectiveness with safety and forms the heart of a Juwel aquarium. It follows the principle "The water stays in the aquarium" and thus represents the safest way to filter an aquarium. The Bioflow XL is equipped with five powerful filter media and a quiet, powerful Eccoflow 1000 circulation pump. The right temperature in the Rio 450 LED is ensured by the Juwel 300 watt heater, which is optimally integrated into the water circuit of the Bioflow XL filter system. Thanks to the use of high-quality silver contacts and impact-resistant borosilicate glass, the Juwel control heater meets the highest demands in terms of function and safety and is TÜV/GS certified.
