The ambers are hand-knotted by Larsson Farm onto the necklace using a strong thread, and the amber chains are secured with a practical plastic twist lock. The thread may stretch slightly over time.

The amber chains are worn in addition to the normal collar. The healing effect remains in the fur for several hours after the necklace is removed.
