My cat is more like 10kg and also a Maine Coon and he has space. You just need to clean the inside of the toilet regularly as they like to get their backs etc on the walls and can get a little dirty. This is not such a problem with the smaller cat. I can only recommend the Litter robot as a game changer empfehlen👍🏼
