Hi all, what is the filter for? Does it also hold back limescale? Otherwise our drinking water is so clean that I don't see the reason for an extra filter.... can someone explain this to me? Thank you very much ... Kind regards

Yes, they are exactly the same filters (I have both drinking fountains).
