Tractive GPS CAT 4 has been on the market since 2022 (Tractive GPS LTE since 2018).
Positives:
- Charging 2 hours (sometimes less)
- Latest LTE technology (Very good tracking in live mode in free. Man could set up virtual fences or taboo zones).
- Messages where the cat is.
- History (where was the cat)
- Lamp and signalling
- gives a feeling of security
Negatives:
- Weighs 36 g without cover ( suitable for cats more than 4 kg). Smaller would be even better.
- Battery life 1-2 days, not 5 days as stated.
- Attachment to the collar is only with the rubber band . (Tractive GPS LITE has additional holder which holds even better in combination with the cover). Replacement rubber bands 3 pcs cost 13.50 Fr.
- Subscription necessary (In Switzerland 10 Fr per month with loss insurance for the tracker = 120 Fr per year, paid in advance).
- Price tracker + subscription approx. 180 Fr for 1 year
