Try the following:
- Make sure that the 4-way manual lock is set to "In & Out".
- Check whether your cat's microchip has been programmed with the device. Only stored chips will open the flap.
- Make sure that the microchip type is compatible (typically 15-digit FDX-B).
- Reprogramming the microchip

Green means that the flap has recognised something (an animal or your hand) and is now trying to read the chip. To do this, the correct chip must be programmed and the cat must bring its head very close.
