On long climbing tours, we wear our Trilogy Icon Wool fleece jacket made from the new Polartec® Power Wool material. To optimize the balance between warmth and breathability, the material has been used in two different weights and strategically placed. It is odor-resistant and keeps us comfortably dry while climbing. The raglan sleeves and four-way stretch provide plenty of freedom of movement. Changing is a breeze, as the elastic hem ensures that our functional fleece stays in place. Even with an additional layer on top, the two V-shaped chest pockets – a hallmark of the Trilogy series – remain easily accessible. The watch opening allows us to keep track of our ascent. In extreme cold, we can pull up the hood under the helmet.
