The Tatonka Floorsheet Tyvek is an ultra-lightweight tent underlay. It protects the tent floor from abrasion, dirt, moisture and damage and prevents condensation from rising in the vestibules. If you place your sleeping mat between the groundsheet and the tent floor, you prevent your mat from slipping. The special feature of this groundsheet is the material - Tyvek may look similar to paper, but it offers completely different benefits. Tyvek is a 100 per cent synthetic material made from high-density polyethylene fleece. It offers the properties of a thermoplastic, high-density synthetic material in a semi-solid state, which prevents liquids from penetrating the surface. The nonwoven is lightweight, durable, breathable and yet offers high resistance to water, abrasion, bacterial penetration and ageing. And - just as advantageous for a footprint for a tent, tarp or bivouac - the material offers high tear resistance and hard-wearing, long-lasting protection. You can also cut the footprint to the size of your inner tent yourself. The Floorsheet Tyvek keeps you well protected on the ground.
