Detection of presence and movement in the event of a possible power failure

Hello Community🙋🏻‍♂️ Does the battery-powered Eve Motion Sensor register movement when the power is turned off or out at home? The control centres, Apple TV and HomePod, would be out of operation without power in such a case. 🤔 I would appreciate being able to receive movements or even recordings (IP camera) during periods without power. Provided that the Eve Motion Sensor also fails to function in the event of a power failure: Are there any devices at all that register movements and presences during power outages? Thank you very much and have a nice Whitsun!

How is the motion sensor connected?

Hello I am not clear how to connect the motion sensor. Can I connect the sensor next to the lamp in series? Or do I have to connect this instead of the switch? I have a 1-piece flush-mounted box with a switch and a socket. Are there also motion detectors with which the socket remains in place? How does the motion detector behave with multiple switches (3 switches for the same ceiling lamp)? I would basically like to install 2 motion detectors - In the storeroom (as mentioned above directly next to the lamp) - In the corridor at a central location, one of the 3 switches is to be replaced by the motion detector. Thanks for tips and information in advance
