In Anno Domini, exact knowledge is not what matters. After all, who really knows whether the traffic light lady Sofie was introduced before or after 13 people were in space at the same time? Players take turns adding a new event to the chain of mostly quirky occurrences, trying to be the first to get rid of their cards.

If a player doubts that the event cards are in the correct order, the moment of truth arrives: the cards are flipped over, and the chronological sequence is verified based on the given date. If something is incorrect, the player who was just before must draw penalty cards. However, if everything is correct, the doubter must draw penalty cards.
