In Anno Domini, precise knowledge isn't what matters. After all, who knows whether chickens set foot on American soil before or after bottle caps were used as closures? In turn, each player adds a new card to the chain of mostly quirky events, trying to be the first to get rid of their cards.

If a player doubts that the event cards are in the correct order, the moment of truth arrives: the cards are flipped over, and the chronological sequence is checked based on the given date. If something is wrong, the player who was just before must draw penalty cards. However, if everything is correct, the doubter must draw penalty cards.
