A dream comes true: You’ve bought your own dungeon! Today, you visited it for the first time and found a huge cave. Wait, the cave is empty! Where is the dungeon? There are no labyrinthine walls, no cruel traps, and above all, no hero-killing monsters! You rush off to the discount store for dungeon building materials and make a quick stop at the local tavern to hire a few monsters. Now you’re ready to defend your treasures against all the heroes who dare to invade your dungeon. Will you manage to outsmart your rivals and be celebrated as the most evil Dungeon Master in the world? Doodle Dungeon is a flip-and-write game for 2 to 4 Dungeon Masters aged 10 and up. In short: Build the dungeon - defeat the heroes - count the points.

Start with an empty dungeon.

1. In the first phase of the game, you build the dungeon by placing walls, traps, monsters, and treasures. To do this, you collect cards and draw these elements onto your dungeon board, following specific building rules. With these cards, you also gain weapons, potions, and other useful actions to fight against all the heroes who want to plunder your dungeon later on.

2. Pass your completed dungeon map to the player on your left. The dungeon of the player on your right will then come into your hand. Use the pen to draw the path that the hero should take through the dungeon map you just received. Again, follow some rules, try to find treasures, battle monsters, and avoid traps.

3. Take back possession of your dungeon and let the hero take the path by executing encounters and playing action cards to score as many points as possible. The fewer elements the hero can destroy in your dungeon, the better your score! The phase ends when all heroes are dead or have fled.
