Massive Darkness 2: Hellscape is a cooperative dungeon exploration and enemy elimination game for 1-6 players aged 14 and up, where players take on the role of Light Bringers, heroes chosen and trained to combat the encroaching darkness. Each player selects a hero with unique components and asymmetrical gameplay mechanics. Massive Darkness 2: Hellscape is the sequel to Massive Darkness, set 10 years later. This time, the fearless Light Bringers must fight their way through Hell itself to uncover the origin of this new darkness, which is stronger than ever. Choose a quest, explore the dungeon, battle monsters, upgrade your equipment, and end the darkness once and for all. To win the game, players must achieve the objective described in the mission. When the victory conditions are met, the game ends immediately, and all players win. Players lose the game if mission-specific victory conditions are fulfilled or if they must spend a Life Bringer token and have none left.
