"Maui" is a simple yet clever family game with a vacation vibe. As players, you fill your beaches by laying out towels close to the water or under the shade of trees and umbrellas to score the most points. However, it becomes risky to crowd these areas, as it can backfire. If you have to place a towel tile in such a way that at least one towel lies outside your designated areas due to lack of space, you will receive penalty points.

The game is played over several rounds. On your turn, you take a towel tile from the market, place it on your beach, and connect matching towels. Alternatively, you can take sand dollars to strategically buy tiles later. The game ends when a player has placed twelve towel tiles.

For an added challenge, try the crab variant. Place your towels wisely to avoid the crabs.
