Product details
1880 China - Board Game (EN), for 3-7 players, ages 12 and up
In 1880 China, players become railway magnates in distant Asia. Based on the 1829 game by Francis Tresham, they experience the railway history of China up close. Special attention has been paid to accurately representing historical facts (as far as possible) in the game.
In classic 18XX style, players compete to generate the most money.
To do this, they buy and sell shares of historical railway companies in China, expand their networks, and run trains on them. The more successful the company is, the more valuable the player's shares become, increasing their chances of emerging victorious from the game. The player with the greatest wealth in cash and stock value at the end wins the game.
