This ship, measuring 15 meters in length and 3.9 meters in width, was built at the Bodan shipyard in Kressborn, Germany, and was handed over to the harbor police in Bavaria on June 30, 1989. The ship is stationed in Passau on the Danube. As a regional vessel type, the WSP 10 is equipped with two 300 HP MAN diesel engines, allowing for a speed of approximately 40 km/h. In regular service, the boat has a crew of two and various equipment, including radar, sonar, autopilot, four radios, and explosion protection. The boat and its crew have a variety of tasks, such as surveillance, particularly related to hazardous goods, and regular police duties. Another important task is environmental protection monitoring. The WSP 10 patrols an area extending from the Austrian border to about 80 km upstream.
