The Knights of the Brotherhood Without Banners are among the most capable in all of Westeros. They consist of former knights from both prominent and obscure lords who feel called to something greater and therefore joined the Brotherhood. They are nearly indestructible and often serve as the centerpiece of the Brotherhood's army on the battlefield. Although the terrain usually dictates their deployment, a commander of the Brotherhood who prepares well for a deadly assault will most often carry the day.
