The Penitent Engines charge the enemy without worrying about danger, because their pilots know that only death, their own or that of the enemy, can bring them absolution. The arms of this kind of machine are equipped with huge flamethrowers that spit out fiery tongues as it advances relentlessly. When it hits the opponent, the chemical cocktail that floods the driver's senses is modified to make them feel like the enemy is in their image. The latter then becomes an unbearable reflection of the guilt of the pilot, who savagely attacks it to make it disappear from his sight. Some Penitent Engines have circular saws with adamantium teeth capable of cutting the armor of a tank, while others grind bones and lace the flesh by cutting down heavy scourges with several weights. Each Penitent Engine is equipped with a pair of heavy flamethrowers and a choice of penitent circular saws and penitent plagues. Any Penitent Engine can, if not, be assembled in the form of Mortifier or Anchorite with a closed cabin, which are then equipped with heavy bolters instead of heavy flamethrowers. The kit comes in 126 components including all weapons and assembly options for the three variants, plus 2 50mm Citadel round pedestals.
