The silica coating is a high-quality finish that contains tiny particles.

Once applied, it gives the flight a completely unique appearance and behavior. Similar to sandpaper, the surface of the flight is rough. During the throw, the coating reduces the speed of the dart in flight and stabilizes its trajectory.

Another important feature of the silica flights is their durability. By adding the silica coating, the strength of the flights is significantly increased, making them less prone to damage and allowing them to last longer than standard flights.
