Horizon Educational FCJJ-39 Wind Energy Science Kit Wind Energy, Technology Experim
Product details
With the Wind Energy Science Kit, you can build a miniature power generation system that converts wind into electrical energy. Experiment with the angle of the turbine blades and discover the optimal number of blades for power generation. Nine rotor blades are included, featuring three types of airfoil blades based on NASA aerodynamics and one type of polypropylene blade, allowing you to find the perfect balance between wind resistance, weight, and angle. The wind energy kit includes three types of airfoil rotor blades. Once you have achieved maximum output with a specific blade type, you can replace it with another airfoil blade type and compare its performance. The included LED module allows you to demonstrate the output power generated by the wind kit and use this power to light the LED lights on the module. This LED module is intended as a simple demonstration device. To conduct much more detailed experiments and explore the full educational value of your wind kit, we recommend purchasing the Horizon Renewable Energy Monitor. Use the device to measure how much voltage is generated under your experimental conditions and perform a variety of experiments in combination with Horizon's electrolyzers. Arrange multiple wind kit turbines in series and parallel configurations to investigate the generated voltage, current, and power output. Design a simulation of a commercial wind farm at a model scale and learn about the potential of wind energy as a mass energy source. Acquire additional wind energy training kits and circuit board module sockets, as well as red/black connection cables necessary for connecting multiple turbines in series and parallel.
