Recycled polyester, also known as rPet, is produced by melting down existing plastic and spinning it into new polyester fiber and yarn. This process gives plastic a second life and consumes 59% less energy in production compared to virgin polyester. For example, 16 water bottles (500 ml) produce enough fibers to create a 30 cm toy. This product and/or its packaging is made from recycled raw materials or parts thereof.
