Product details
Build the LEGO Ideas Ship in a Bottle in the finest nautical tradition. This highly detailed ship features the captain's cabin, cannons, masts, lookout, and printed sail elements. Fan designer Jake Sadovich was inspired by a real ship in a bottle that he had built a few years earlier and wanted to recreate it using LEGO bricks. His design received the required 10,000 votes on LEGO Ideas.
It includes a bottle, a ship, and a display stand made of LEGO bricks. The bottle features a detailed, buildable cork with a wax seal element (new as of February 2018) and more than 280 transparent blue elements inside that resemble water. The ship has a raised deck, the captain's cabin, 6 cannons, 3 masts, a lookout, and various elements such as printed sails and the ship's flag.
The display stand includes a "Leviathan" nameplate, a built-in compass (non-functional) with a detailed compass rose and a rotating gold needle, 2 globe elements, and gold embellishments. It also contains a brochure with building instructions and information about fan designer Jake Sadovich and the LEGO designers who developed the set.
The bottle on the display stand is over 10 cm tall, 31 cm wide, and 10 cm deep. The ship is over 8 cm tall, 14 cm long, and 5 cm wide.
